Patient Consent
Last updated: 26 October 2026
When you create a patient account, you tick a box to confirm the following. Your agreement is recorded with the date and the version of these texts.
1. Terms and Privacy Policy
- You accept the Terms of Use.
- You have read the Privacy Policy and understand how your personal data is used.
2. Explicit Consent for Health-Related Information
You give your explicit consent, under Article 9(2)(a) GDPR, for MyClinicBooking to process information about your health that your bookings may reveal, such as the clinic, doctor or speciality you book with and anything you choose to write in a booking note. This information is used only to arrange and manage your appointments.
3. Sharing With the Clinic
You agree that your name, contact details and booking details are shared with the clinic you book with, so that it can see you. The clinic handles them as data controller, under its own professional obligations.
4. Messages About Your Bookings
You will receive messages by SMS or email when you book and when a booking is cancelled or changed. Reminders and earlier-appointment alerts are optional and are sent only if you ask for them when booking.
5. Withdrawing Your Consent
- You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account under My Account → Data & Privacy, or by writing to info@myclinicbooking.com.
- Withdrawing does not affect processing that took place before. Without this consent we cannot take bookings through your account.
- Bookings that already exist at a clinic remain in the clinic’s records as described in the Privacy Policy.
